Support for Christian Peacemaker Team members in Iraq

Friends Peace Teams is a Quaker organization working for peace and
justice worldwide. We support the calls for immediate release of our
colleagues in Christian Peacemaker Teams who are being held by persons
unknown in Iraq. We affirm that CPT members have consistently worked
nonviolently to end violence and injustice in Iraq and other places, and
have never served as spies. We pray for the safety of Harmeet Sooden, Jim
Loney, Norman Kember, and Tom Fox and extend our concern to their families,
friends and colleagues.
